IT’S NOT THIS TIME… WHAT HAPPENS NOW?

 

We know you invested a lot of yourself into this cycle, and you’re probably really disappointed that you’re in the category of still trying. Likely you’re feeling conflicted – the last thing you want to hear are suggestions of more things to do, but at the same time, you know that you really want this and that you’re willing to figure out what else you can do, or might need to do, in order to create a change in your outcome.

It’s ok (and healthy) to sit for a while and allow the disappointment and combination of feelings to be felt before taking next steps or making a plan of what to do going forward. If that’s what you’re feeling, pause here, take a break, and know that this page and these suggestions will be here when you’re feeling better and ready to jump back in.

Once your period begins, you can return to suggested foods and guidance for Phase 1, and use these while bleeding (found in this course in the unit titled Getting Started: Suppression). Remember, this is a time of detoxing and releasing. This is particularly true for you, as you want to cleanse your body of the exogenous hormones and medications, as well as release the emotions and feelings that you went through during your IVF cycle. The green foods are particularly helpful in facilitating this physical cleanse, so you want to eat as many of these as you can on the days of your menstrual period, especially if you feel like you’ve gained weight in this process.
